TMJ & TMD

While TMJ or Temporomandibular Joint refers to the joint only, jaw dysfunction or TMD – Temporomandibular Dysfunction – is a fairly common disorder involving jaw pain, headaches and usually painful clicking when opening your mouth.

Clenching and grinding can also be involved. Besides wearing a mouthguard at night and or during the day, getting Cranial Sacral treatment can lessen painful symptoms of TMD. CST includes a wide range of internal and external techniques that are very helpful to those with this condition.
